1) Message boards : Number crunching : Your Longest WU Runtimes (Message 613) Posted 18 Nov 2013 by Mark Sango Post: My computer using an intel i5 cpu successfully completed the calculation of the yafu_C114_F1384362015_496 WU (YAFU v134.01 (mt)) in 70,621.64 seconds between 14 Nov 2013, 21:37:02 UTC and 17 Nov 2013, 23:22:10 UTC. Rewarded with a 963.48 credit. The work unit kept showing a percentage of 0% done for a long time after the estimated remaining time had reached zero while the calculation time kept increasing. The upload of the result was achieved long after the initial deadline, but I hope that it was still usefull.
2) Message boards : Number crunching : Too Late To Validate (Message 481) Posted 7 Aug 2012 by Mark Sango Post: Pardon me for abandoning a Yafu task visible here => http://bit.ly/RwTA91 It ran during 5000 CPU second on 4 cores, much longer than most of other WUs and showing no percentage progress, and several other Yafu WUs in queue with about the same deadline. Those most recent WUs were crunched smoothly in a relatively short time! Won't be able to crunch for Yafu because of a BURP Sunflower WU requesting, like Yafu , a 4 CPU treatment which doesn't look like progressing at all even after many days of processing, but with a deadline of 09/05/2010.
