Posted 13 May 2012 by Tex1954 Post: System: AMD 1100T, 12Gig RAM, HD6990 GPU, Win7-Pro 64b, BOINC 7.0.26. Loaded YAFU work unit first time and wouldn't start unless I first suspended ALL other CPU/GPU/NCI tasks. First WU ran fine after that. Soo, I let everything go again and let it DL a couple more WU's to try. This time it started after I suspended the CPU tasks, but it stopped the GPU tasks and in the process crashed the Explorer Desktop. Rebooted, tried again, same result. Soo, tried it again with the GPU work suspended and this time it ran fine... Me thinks there is something buggy in the way that works. I see no reason to stop GPU tasks to run CPU tasks and this is the only project that demands such. Is this a BOINC 7.0.26 problem or project problem or what ya think? Thanks! 8-) Seems to me there is a bug somewhere's |
