Seen quite a few of these errors today:

Stderr output
<core_client_version>6.10.17</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
process exited with code 195 (0xc3, -61)
</message>
<stderr_txt>
wrapper: starting
10:07:16 (1985): wrapper: running yafu ()
Special q lower bound 810000 below rFB bound 1.62e+06
app exit status: 0xb
19:28:52 (1985): called boinc_finish

</stderr_txt>
]]>

Not just on my host either.
EDIT: Just noticed it's happening with the new app 128.03

This is a bug in the 128.03 Linux version. I disabled this version until we fixed it and reenabled the former version 128.02.

Just downloaded the new app 128.04 but saw this message whilst doing so:

Sun 18 Sep 2011 08:38:45 PM CEST yafu Started download of yafu-32k-linux64-12806

As you can see the download states 128.06?? States 128.04 for task though:

Sun 18 Sep 2011 08:46:14 PM CEST yafu Starting task yafu_C98_1316368881_327_0 using yafu version 12804

Each file which you download has it's own numbering, which is not the same as the application version. The application version 128.04 is than the bundeling of various files.

Just ran a couple of the new Multiple Thread (mt) type work units on my AMD Phenom X6 1090T running Fedora 16 64 Bit Linux.

Both work units failed in about 2 seconds with this Error

process exited with code 195 (0xc3, -61)
</message>
<stderr_txt>
wrapper: starting
01:00:06 (5670): wrapper: running yafu (-threads $NTHREADS -batchfile in --nthreads 6)
app exit status: 0x100

Is it my end or something with the new MT Application ???

(I am waiting for the other Linux computer to run it's result to see if it also fails)
Edit:-- Yep it failed as well with the same Error message.
See Results 639643
639591
639566

So at the moment I am unable to run the MT Application.

Message 306 - Posted: 23 Jan 2012, 22:02:22 UTC - in response to Message 305.

Seems to be a bug in the binary wrapper which I downloaded from berkeley with the replacement of the command line arguments, so it passes wrong arguments to yafu. I recompiled the latest wrapper. This is now a 32 bit wrapper. But it should also run on 64 bit systems.
