Is it true that Yafu tasks still don't checkpoint? I got a 32t tasks running on my 5950X and time remaining is estimated to be 2,5 days! I usually turn my PCs off during night so this is something of concern to me!

I am aware it has been sometime since you asked the question.
To answer your question as long as the ".DAT" file is updating the task is checkpointing you can check this in the task slot directory. I hope this is helpful information

There are checkpoints, but as far as I understand how the analysis works, they can't be done whenever you want : they can only happen between each phase of the analysis.
