But what credit do you assign when some tasks take 2 seconds while the next can take several days? Fixed would not be fair so how does a project calculate the work done? CreditNew. For projects with variable run times it's the only real option.

My client has some tasks with a deadline of June 4th but the project site says the 15th.

Please check if newly downloaded wus are using now 8 threads. yoyo Yes one PC got 2 tasks in the last hour and they are both 8t according to BOINC. Some prior tasks have been using more CPU time than run time. Thanks.
