Unable to upload tasks for days now

Posted 7 Jun 2017 by justsomeguy Post: Looking at my task list, it's not clear whether they were just deleted or uploaded. I'll check again later as it may not have updated, yet. It's not uncommon for a task to upload the data but remain in the tasks list. I've seen this in a few projects. You can try doing a suspend/resume of the project, sometimes that will jump start it. Otherwise, you may have to reset the project - This method will, however, delete all files and tasks for the project and download new ones. So, use the reset as a last resort. Personally, I've had to do this for Seti once or twice over the years. Good Luck! |

Dealines in Boinc showing incorrect date/time

No sense in turning in a wu 3 days after the deadline. I have found, for example, the site info for a particular job: Name yafu_ali_264384_L137_C128_1496733308_81_0 Workunit 923876 Created: 6 Jun 2017, 7:15:53 UTC Sent: 7 Jun 2017, 10:43:44 UTC Report deadline: 19 Jun 2017, 10:43:44 UTC However, Boinc (which doesn't let me copy and paste the details :( ) shows the Report Deadline: Fri 09 Jun 2017 06:43:44 EDT While this has been frustrating since I believed I was putting in a lot of time on yafu wu's and not being properly credited, I will in the future let the wu's complete anyway rather than aborting. Just thought people might like to know. :) |

Long run time low credit.

I'm, also, also seeing that the deadlines are too short. 4 hour wu from yesterday to complete in 4 hours due this morning at 4 am has been running for 11.5 hour, 2.6 hours to go, but already past the deadline.
