I received this work unit and started working on it 5/13. It initially showed 15 hours to complete. I just aborted this unit as it had ran for over 6 days and the CPU time was over 4 days. It a dead line of 5/15 so I was 4 days past the deadline. I hate to abort work but I also REALLY hate to waste 100 hours of 4 core computing time. That is alot of work that other projects did not get to complete.
So I looked up the WU number and the other people that ran that WU have aborted it also. Is there an issue with that WU?

At least there is no known issue with this wu.

Next time you abort such wou I'm interrested in the content of the slot folder. So before aborting it, copy the slot folder and sent it to me.

Ok, so I have another WU 595728 that is showing 100% complete. It has been that way for over a day now. The deadline on the BOINC manager is 5/25/16. But when I look this WU up it shows 5/30/16 as the deadline. Is there an issue where BOINC is not showing correct info? Again I don't want to kill it if the work is being done but I don't want a machine down for a day for no reason.

Thank you in advance for the help :)

Please do the following:
Stop all other wus (if there is any) and check in task manager if there is still a process running which consumes cpu and which one.
If yes, the WU is still running.
Check also the slot folder of this WU which were the last changed files and when were they changed.

If there is no process running in task manager and in the slot folder no file is changing, restart boinc and check again.

If all this doesn't help, sent me the slot folder.
