With similar CPU times and the same tasks, there is a massive and consistent divide in granted credit.

i7 6700k @ 130,000 seconds grants 72,000 credit on 8t: https://yafu.myfirewall.org/yafu/workunit.php?wuid=959219

i7 4770k @ 118,000 seconds grants 7500 credit on 8t: https://yafu.myfirewall.org/yafu/workunit.php?wuid=958329

I haven't had this problem on any other CPU project. The 6700k is only ~10-15% stronger than the 4770k, and yet it receives 10x more credit on YAFU only. Any idea what the problem could be here?

The project uses the standard Boinc out of the box "creditNew" credit system because YAFU is a test project to test newest Boinc server versions.

This "creditNew" needs some time to adjust.

Ah, I see. The new credit system must be pretty messy then :) Thanks for your response!

The original code name was "we hate you so we're going to make your life miserable" but since that was too long, David changed it to "creditnew". ;-)
