The deadline is 2 days. But you will get also credits up to 5 days after the deadline. Why do you think this is too short? |

This WU has used 7 days already. Your estimate is way out. That is why the deadline is far too short. |

This workunit is a 4t workunit. On 4 threads it should not run longer than 16 hours. But I see that you somehow modified the app and you are running it only with 1 thread. In this case it might happen that you miss also the extended deadline. You should consider to run it with 4 threads as it was desired by the project. I need the results as fast as possible because it might happen that someone else (outside of BOINC) factorise this number. To keep this possibility low the workunit should not be arround for a long time. yoyo |

Now that another client has been given the WU, I have cancelled my task which has now consumed nearly 8 days, and had not even finished the first filtering. Divided by 4 threads that is still about 2 days each - way beyond your 16 hours estimate. Try refining your deadlines for those who don't have gamimg hardware. |
