16t work units not properly credited

So, what's the point of having settings for 8t, 16t, etc... while you just move stuffs you need to wherever. If I move tasks from 16t to 8t, then it is an 8t task, it can be chosen as 8t and will be credited as 8t. The main BOINC forums explained that BOINC Credit New system works well on floating point but not well on integer-only calculations.
