The amount of time & power wasted on stuck work units is a real turn off, especial with current high power prices. You never quite know if it's stuck or still going. So define a "security time" after which task to be stopped if such conditions are met - with error code and loss of credits, or not, this is another debate. And you do know, if a task sticks at 100.0%, simply look at the CPU usage of the machine in task manager etc. If it's been at 0 for a few minutes, cancel the task.
