Because it's the default meaning it's built-in into the Server side version of Boinc. to change it one Admin, not from here, said there were like 3 places in the software to change it. But what credit do you assign when some tasks take 2 seconds while the next can take several days? Fixed would not be fair so how does a project calculate the work done? CreditNew.
