We reached the next level, composites with 107 digits. In generell the should run longer and use more memory. But as usual there are always composites which can be factored very fast. Keep also in mind, that the plan is to stop yafu after C110.

I expect that the runtime will be very long and hat they will consume much memory. But let us see what happens when we reach it.

In March you said we had finished c107's and were moving on to c108, but I just processed a bunch of c105's.
Since you DB doesn't save my history ( probably for space reasons on your server ) I can't tell you how many there were, but I do have 2 left to crunch on my HPTOUCH-PC.

I also find it odd that this and many other BOINC projects send more WU's to my weaker PC's and that my Multi-core, Large RAM, lots of HDD space PC's get releitivly few WU's at a time. My settings are all the same. 100% internet access, 100% task load per project ( for the ones I am active on ).

I didn't say that we finished everything below C108. In fact we are taking number from factordb. Here you can see how many numbers in which range are available http://factorization.ath.cx/stat_1.php. If we run e.g. C108 than other user of the factorDB might add numbers smaller than this. So it might happen (and it does) that after we have finished a range, that some days later other users added numbers in a lower range. And than we run them. Currently we are faster in factoring them as they are added.

The server is configured to send you up to 50 wus per request. If you get less, than it is your Boinc which requests less.

OK, got it...Now I understand where you are getting the work.

On the second point, it is not just this project that has done this grabbing too many WU's for a slower PC. I can live with it.
Just burning electricity like there is NO TOMORROW.
